This work was published in Nuremberg between the years 1750 and 1772. This prints were an
hand-colored, copper-plate engraving printed on fine, chain-linked, laid, watermarked paper. Described by Nissen as "the most beautiful of all the German works," it may be compared to other large botanical works of the time such as "Weinmann's Phytanthoza". |
